Reminiscing on my days as a freshman, it is very apparent I have gone through significant changes to get to where I am today, and the person I am today. So I want to make a list of all the things and people I am thankful for along my high school journey, which were apparently supposed to be the best 4 years of my life.  I’d like to start by obviously thanking my mom, not only because I’m writing this on Mother’s Day, but because she helped me grow and mature a lot as a person during the past four years. Thank you for listening to my drama and never failing to take the side of the other person involved, for never understanding what DECA was but supporting me through it, for helping me do my hair on picture days, for homecoming dress shopping with me, and for helping me with math homework at the kitchen table while I cried because I will never use the unit circle again.  I’d also like to especially thank my dad for taking all four years to learn my friends names, walking with me...
